Monday we finished the first half of world history! Then I got to celebrate Box Day. Sonlight—our homeschool curriculum—encourages its customers to share about their ‘Box Day’—the day they receive the new year’s school supplies.
Well, consider me encouraged!
We begin the next year of school on June 7 (which happens to be my little sister’s anniversary). So we have a month of play to rest up and anticipate the coming year. Our focus of study will be the second half of world history. Look at all the pretty books! They are now tagged and on the shelf in the order in which we will use them, like a row of mysterious gifts just waiting to be opened.
